ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The National Assembly workers on Friday demonstrated a protest outside the chamber of leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah demanding promotions and raise in their salaries.
The workers said that they also demonstrated a protest outside the chamber of National Assembly Speaker but nothing was done by the authorities.
They urged Shah to play his role in having their demands met as soon as possible.
The workers ended the protest after they were assured of positive steps in their favour by Shah.
On the other hand, according to the National Assembly Secretariat, the workers did not demonstrate a protest and they went to meet the opposition leader to let him know of their demands.
