Summary LHC has adjourned the hearing for one week due to the absence of petitioner's lawyer.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal government on Thursday submitted a written reply in Lahore High Court (LHC) on the expenses of Rs 31.7 million spent on Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif s New York visit.
According to details, federal lawyer while submitting written reply to Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah of LHC said that funds have been approved by Parliament for the PM’s foreign visits.
During a hearing, the court asked that how can it interfere in a fund allocated by Parliament.
However, lawyer of petitioner were not present in court due to personal reasons.
Moreover, by ordering petitioner’s lawyer to debate on the case, court has adjourned the hearing for one week.
