33 KPK minor girls: Shahabuddin Khan urges arrest of culprits involved

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Member of National Assembly (MNA) Shahabuddin Khan on Wednesday has urged the government to nab the culprits involved in the matter of at least 33 minor girls from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) who have been recovered from Karachi and to form a committee to catch gangs who are involved in such crimes.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) member Nabeel Qabol urged the authorities concerned to investigate the matter to find out how these girls were transported to Karachi from KPK and whether they were being trained as suicide bombers or not.

Reportedly, the girls age between 8 and 10 and were brought to Karachi from Bajaur Agency.

While, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) member Raja Javed Ikhlas said that the teams of the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the government did go to Faisalabad to check the measures taken for protection against Ebola virus and a task force has been formed which includes Pakistan Army’s Medical Corp s doctors however, no medical case of Ebola virus has surfaced so far.

He also said that the Pakistan Army soldiers in the United Nation’s Peace Mission are kept under supervision for at least 21 days.
Member of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam- Fazl (JUI-F), Asiya Nasir said that if the culprits involved in the crimes against minorities in the past were sentenced to punishment then there would not have been any case like Kot Radha Kishan now.

MNA Kamran Michael said that the criminals involved in the Kot Radha Kishan incident have been arrested and that on the directives of the Prime Minister (PM), this case is being made a test case.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member Siraj Muhammad Khan was given a warm welcome by the members of the National Assembly on his arrival in the House.

However, the session was adjourned until 11am November 27.
