KARACHI (Dunya News) – Anti-polio drive has resumed on second day in 86 union councils (UC) of 16 towns in the metropolis.
Polio drops will be administered to more than 575,000 children during the campaign.
Teams comprising 1706 volunteers have been formed for this purpose, however, the campaign was postponed in SITE and Orangi Town yesterday due to deteriorating law and order situation.
Anti-polio drive has been stopped in UC-5 of SITE Town today (Tuesday) as well.
The campaign will be carried out step by step until the set target in eleven sensitive union councils of the city is achieved.
