GUJRANWALA: (Dunya News) – Police arrested 5 suspects from the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Gujranwala public gathering today (Sunday), Dunya News reported. All of the people were arrested from VIP enclosure of Jinnah Stadium.
According to details, two of the arrested were released on personal guarantees. One of the arrested, named Aamir, was from Bannu. A mobile phone and a telephone directory were found from him. Aamir said that police tried to conduct checking forcefully, on which he protested, only to get arrested.
One of the men was caught trying to climb the stage. He stated that he wanted to meet Chairman PTI Imran Khan.
A drunken man was also arrested outside the stadium. Two men were arrested while attempting to enter the stadium from back side. They were released later by the police.
