Summary Dozens of workers mounted on the stage after the rally ended, police gave a slight baton charge
GUJRANWALA: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) held a rally in Gujranwala today (Sunday) at Jinnah Stadium. However, as the gathering ended, PTI workers created mayhem in the stadium and dozens of them mounted the stage, knocked over the chairs and threw cushions in the air. The workers also tore apart the banners and posters pasted inside the stadium.
Police had to give a slight baton charge to control the situation. Workers dispersed after the baton charge and left for their homes.
