WASHINGTON: (Dunya News) – Chief Of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has said that terrorists are savage. He said that they will not be allowed to even cast their shadow on the soil of Pakistan and Afghanista, Dunya News reported.

Talking to American officials in Washington on Thursday, General Raheel Sharif has said that terrorists will be dealt with indiscriminately in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb. He said that the terrorists martyred Pakistani soldiers and played football with their heads. He said that the terrorists are savage and barbarians.

Pakistani Army Chief was invited at a dinner at Pakistani Embassy in Washington. Addressing the participants of this ceremony, Raheel Sharif said that relations between Pakistan and United States of America (USA) were improving. He said that they were trying to bring peace with the support of Afgan government. He said that the terrorists will be dealt indiscriminately.

Earlier, Army Chief, along with Pakistani Ambassador to USA Jalil Abbas Jillani, met American National Security Advisor Susan Rice and discussed Pak-America security relationship. The two leaders expressed satisfaction over the relation between Pakistan and USA.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief informed Susan Rice about violations of Line of Control (LoC) by the Indian Army and Pakistan’s struggle against terrorism.

Raheel Sharif also met Senate Committee on External Affairs, Armed Services Committee and Select Committee on Intelligence. Senator Robert Mendese, Robert Korker and other members welcomed General Raheel Sharif at Capital Hill. They congratulated General Raheel Sharif for the success in operation against terrorists. Committee members admitted that Pakistan Army has destroyed terrorists’ command and control structure. They said that the achievements of Pakistan army against the terrorists were plausible.

Addressing on this occasion, COAS said that terrorists will not be allowed to make hideouts on Pakistani soil. He said that the operation will continue till the elimination of last terrorist. He expressed trust in Pak Army’s capacity for achieving targets in FATA operation. Army Chief informed the US committee about the plans to rehabilitate the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) as soon as possible. He expressed desire for a long-term and strong relations hip between US and Pakistan.
