Summary IDPs are not an issue of KPK government but federations' responsibility, says chairman PTI.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Talking to the media in Bani Gala before leaving for Sahiwal on Saturday, Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan advised Pakistan Muslim league Nawaz (PML-N) leader Marvi Memon to stage dramas after consultation with federal government.

He said Internally Displaced Individuals (IDPs) are not an issue of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government rather federation’s.

He further stated 3 million IDPs have arrived in KPK and such a big amount is bound to trouble a smaller province.

Federal government to should come forward to help instead of disparaging KP government, he added.

Imran Khan informed that Chief Minister KPK Pervez khatak has decided to take IDPs’ issue to court.

He said government may arrest him anytime and that he’d quit politics if proved guilty of attacking PTV.

Berating PM Nawaz Sharif he said there isn’t any crime that Nawaz Sharif has not committed. He has been accused of money laundering, not declaring the assets, extra-judicial killings, phony cases and so on whereas two affidavits including that of Minister Finance Ishaq Dar is present before everyone.

Earlier in the day, Marvi Memon today (Saturday) staged sit-in outside Bannu jail, seeking release of the IDPs of North Waziristan tribal region.

Inspector General (IG) KPK Nasir Durrani said all IDPs have been released and that they acknowledge the sacrifices of IDPs.
