ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central information secretary Shireen Mazari on Friday has said that Pakistan’s economy is suffering due to the corruption and wrong policies of the government.

In a statement, she said that the government is quite uncertain about the economic affairs including other subjects of the country.

She said that Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif is holding PTI responsible for the downfall in the economic growth of the country whereas according to the International Monitory Fund (IMF) and Minister of Finance the economic growth is better in August 2014 than that in August 2013.

She said that according to the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), 35 percent of textile factories have been closed down in the country.

She said that the government seems captive of its own lie.
