BUREWALA (Dunya News) – A woman was gang raped on Thursday by five workers of Tehsil Headquarters Hospital when her husband brought her there for a medical check-up.
According to husband Abdul Rehman, he took her wife for a check-up to the hospital where the staff, making an excuse of peak time, made her wait and sit there for some time. After the outdoor time was over, two employees named Maqbool and Ramzan along with others took her to a room for check-up and allegedly gang raped her after giving her a drug injection.
The police have not registered a case even after submitting an application.
On the other hand, Executive District Officer (EDO) Health visited the hospital and terminated three employees from their service.
A committee has also been formed to probe into the matter.
