Summary The group also vows to release footage of the bombing on 'right time'.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The banned terrorist outfit Jamaatul Ahrar on Thursday released image of the alleged suicide bomber of the Wagah Border attack that left over 60 dead and more than 120 wounded, Dunya News reported.

According to the details, the banned outfit has claimed that the bombing at the Wagah Border was carried out by the suicide bomber Hanifullah and that it will also release the footage of the attack on ‘right time’.

It merits mentioning here that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) branch Jamaatul Ahrar spokesman Ehsanullah Ehsan had told the media via telephone that the Wagah Border attack was in retaliation of the Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan.

Ehsan had warned that such attacks would continue in future and that they chose Wagah Border because this area is of ‘international significance’ and that it is occupied by more security personnel.

Jamaatul Ahrar spokesman said that some groups are claiming the responsibility of the attack but those claims, he said, are baseless.

Another banned terrorist group Jandullah had also claimed responsibility of the attack.
