ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central spokesperson Shireen Mazari on Wednesday said that it was not possible to talk to the government if the hostile environment towards PTI continues, Dunya News reported.

Talking exclusively to Dunya News, Mazari condemned the issuance of arrest warrants of party chief Imran Khan, lawmaker Asad Umar and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak.

She said the government itself is attacking the democracy and termed the arrest warrants illegal.

Daring the government, Mazari said they’ll see how government will make Imran Khan’s arrest.

Earlier, Islamabad’s anti-terrorism court issued arrest warrants against Imran Khan, Tahirul Qadri, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervaiz Khattak, PTI lawmaker Asad Umar and PAT leader Raheeq Abbasi in cases regarding attacks on parliament and PTV building during sit-in protests in Islamabad.

The cases against the accused are registered in Islamabad’s Secretariat Police Station.

A violent mob had attacked the buildings of parliament and PTV in a clash with the police in August.
