Summary Pamphlets, stickers distributed in Thokar, Wagah, Nawab Town, other areas of Lahore

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – First case against group claiming to be related to terrorist organization “Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS)” has been registered in Nawab Town Police Station of Lahore over wall-chalking in various areas of Lahore. Pamphlets and stickers have also been distributed in Thokar, Wagah, Nawab Town and various other areas of Punjab’s capital. The case includes sections related to religious hatred and inciting to violence.

Posters of ISIS have been found pasted on the walls in various areas of provincial capital. Case No. 1469/14 under Section 153 has been registered in which sections related to religious hatred and inciting to violence have been added.

Thousands of pamphlets have been discovered from Urdu Bazaar of Lahore as well. But SHO New Anarkali Police Station has denied the news. According to NNI, Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the distribution of ISIS pamphlets in Lahore and has demanded report about the matter from IG Police.
