Summary 153 cases from FATA, 43 from KP, 3 from Punjab, 24 from Sindh, 10 from Baluchistan have surfaced
KARACHI: (Dunya News) – Another polio case has surfaced in Sindh as the total number of polio cases in 2014 reach 238 in Pakistan, Dunya News reported. According to National Health Department, 8-year-old Muhammad Khan from Union Council Ghulam Muhammad Laghari of Village Jumaan Khan Laghari, Badin district, Sindh, has been diagnosed with polio virus.
After this case, the number of polio cases in Sindh has reached 24. So far, 153 polio cases from Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), 43 from Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP), 3 from Punjab, 24 from Sindh and 10 from Baluchistan have emerged this year. Total number of polio cases this year in Pakistan has now reached 238.
