Summary Experts will be invited to examine investment opportunities in energy sector in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif will visit United Kingdom (UK) on Wednesday to attend the International Energy Conference, told Spokesperson to PM Dr. Musaddiq Malik.

Holding a press conference in Islamabad, Dr. Musaddiq Malik said that experts will be invited to examine investment opportunities in Pakistan. He told that Prime Minister will especially invite the investors to invest in wind, solar, coal and shell gas based projects.

Spokesperson to PM told that the Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project was suffering due to international sanctions on Iran. “We have assured Iran that this project will be expedited once the sanctions on Iran are lifted”, he told. He told that International Monetary Fund (IMF) will also release USD 1.2 billion for Pakistan.
