Summary All government and opposition leaders demanded to categorize new road safety measures.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Federal and Provincial governments in Sindh Assembly today (Tuesday) have demanded to establish emergency centers on National Highway, Dunya News reported.

According to details, Sindh Assembly session heading speaker Agha Siraj Durrani started an hour late in which condolences on police officers deaths and murders of 6 Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders were made.

According to sources, government and opposition leaders showed contrition over the Khairpur incident and demanded possible compensation amount and medication for affectees.

Provincial Minister Jam Mehtab Dahar said that initial reports have revealed driver s neglegence behind the accident whereas injured are being treated.

On the other hand, Muttahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hassan stated that there has been no development seen on Sindh Assembly’s road safety resolution and Sharjeel Memon on speaker rolling, assured that chief secretary will be interrogated over this matter.

Moreover, Opposition Leader Shehryar Mehar insisted to complete construction process of Highway as soon as possible while Nusrat Sehar Abbasi added that Sukkur commissioner took notice after 2 hours howerver, no notice has been seen by deputy commissioner Khairpur.
