Summary Nawaz Sharif arrived in Germany on two-day visit, will meet German Chancellor, other officials
BERLIN: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif has said that sit-ins are not the way to progress. He said that the nation shouldn’t be misled by the protesters. PM said that Pakistan’s economic progress did not lie in sit-in.
Receiving a warm welcome today (Monday) on his arrival in Berlin, PM said that he was invited by the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and he will meet the German leadership and officials to discuss the ways to improve mutual economic cooperation. “We want to take such steps that would bring both the countries closer”, he said.
Nawaz Sharif said that the energies should not be wasted on sit-ins. “Pakistan’s progress does not lie in the sit-in. Nation must not be misled”, he said. He said that the agreements made with China will help Pakistan a lot. Pakistan has had cordial relations with China for decades, he said. “If the agreements made with the Chinese worked at a good pace, Pakistan will achieve economic strength within next ten years”, Nawaz said.
Prime Minister said that the agreements with China will have good effect on Pakistan’s economy. He vowed to eradicate poverty, illiteracy and energy crisis from Pakistan.
