Summary Signed agreements will help to promote bilateral and mutual cooperation between the both countries.
CHINA (Dunya News) – Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) and 19 agreements worth of billions of dollars including energy have been signed between Pakistan and China on Saturday.
The meeting between Prime Minister Pakistan (PM), Nawaz Sharif and President Xi Jinping took place at the Great Hall of Beijing along with his Chinese companion Li Keqiang.
9 agreements belong to energy sector including Quaid-e-Azam solar park plan and 870 MW Hydro Power Project at Suki Kinari. An MoU for 100MW Jhimpir wind power project has also been signed.
Agreements will help to promote cooperation between the two countries in the fields of infrastructure, Economic Corridor project, Economic and Technical Cooperation and easy loan for laying optic fiber.
Moreover, mining of 65,00,000 metric tons of coal in Block-2 of Thar and an industrial park at Faisalabad have also taken under consideration.
