Summary Chairman PTI claimed that police expenditure in Raiwind in Rs. 500 million per year
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that Rs. 4000 billion tax can be collected in Pakistan through honesty. Criticizing the corruption in government departments, Imran Khan said that tax-collection ration is lowest in Pakistan. “Why should the public pay taxes when the leaders conceal their assets”, questioned Imran.
Addressing the sit-in protesters today (Friday) in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that 4000 billion rupees can be collected in Pakistan as taxes. He strongly criticized Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and former President Asif Ali Zardari. He alleged that Asif Zardari’s visit to China on private jet cost Pakistan Rs. 25 million while police deployed in Raiwind costs the national exchequer Rs. 500 million annually.
Imran Khan revealed that gas tariff will increase during the winter season. He said that Railways is in Rs. 125 billion loss while PIA is in Rs. 200 billion loss. But on the other hand, said he, motorway has cost Pakistan 14 million USD per kilometer.
