Summary Death toll in Lahore suicide blast reached 59 as another two victims succumbed to their injuries.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The funeral prayer of the killed Rangers personnel was offered at the Rangers Headquarter on Sunday night and their bodies were sent to their respective home towns for burial.
The martyred personnel include Inspector Rizwan, Lance Naik Shabir and Sultan who were performing their duty at the security barrier near Wagah border crossing.
Governor Punjab Muhammad Sarwar and DG rangers Punjab Tahir Javed attended the funeral prayer.

Several bodies have been identified. A 6-year-old victim identified as Subhan WAris belonged to Township area while five others including 50-year-old Rafiq, 32-year-old Abdul Sattar, 10-year-old Mazhar and 28-year-old Umaira were from Shalimar area.
Five-year-old Zabisha from Dev Samaj Road, Yasmin (40) and Ramisha (14) from Sandha, Rafiq (50) from Jalo Park and Haji Shabir (65) was resident of Ada Shabil.
Some of the deceased were from Karachi as well. Abdul Razaq (55) from Clifton area, Sadiq (28) Shadman Town, Sikandar and Irfan (34) was from Landhi area.
Other three victims including Imrana Bibi (28), Ramzan Bibi (65) and Zubairia (21) were residents of Samundri area near Faisalabad.
Other deceased have been identified as Abdullah Iqbal and seven-year-old Nadia.
At least nine members of a family who came to witness the flag and parade ceremony were also among the killed.
Around 38 bodies have been handed over to their relatives. Funeral prayer of nine victims was offered at Al-Qadsia Mosque in Lahore. Afterwards, three bodies were sent to Peshawar, five to Karachi whereas one body was sent to Tando Adam.
Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif condemned the attack and instructed the concerned authorities to provide the best possible treatment to the wounded.
