Summary Imran must not pressurize PTI members to resign, says Minister Information.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Talking to Dunya News on Saturday, Federal Minister for Information said doors to hold talks with chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are open and that if PTI’s team comes they would be greeted wholeheartedly.

He said people gave mandate to PTI for the solution to their problems but Imran Khan crippled the economy of the country through sit-ins.
People won’t spare Khan in the next elections for whatever he has done, he added.

He further said that members of PTI are not ready to resign and Imran must not pressurize them for resignations.

In the context: PTI’s sit-in deemed to bring doom to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government is continued for the 3rd consecutive month since August 15. They had staged demonstration at the D-chowk Islamabad demanding PM’s resignation resiliently. Army tried to resolve situation but the attempt went vain when the government denied reaching out to army for assistance whereas the political jirga constituting senior leaders of the opposition parties including Rehman Malik and Sirajul Haq formulated to bridge negotiations has failed at the deadlock over PM’s resignation.
