ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on Wednesday presented the recommendation summary to the federal government seeking reduction in petroleum prices by up to Rs 14 per liter following the coverage of Dunya News. As a result, the petrol price is likely to be reduced by Rs 9.82 per liter and diesel prices to be reduced by Rs 7.17 per liter.
The summary will be presented to the government tomorrow and the prices are likely to change from November 1st.
It merits mentioning here that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has already issued directive to reduce the petroleum prices.
The new prices will be announced on October 31st.
