ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Interior Ministry presented the details of War on Terror in National Assembly today (Monday). According to the report, extremist rebels have cost Pakistan Rs. 4.8 billion.

According to the documented answer presented in the National Assembly, Rs. 48.8 billion have been spent so far over War on Terror. Out of these 48.8 billion rupees, 23.38 billion were spent only on Islamabad. 3.45 billion rupees on FATA and 1.95 billion were spent on FC Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP). Rs. 340 million were spent on Sindh Rangers and 7.7 billion rupees were spent on Punjab Rangers. 30.7 million rupees were spent on Coast Guards, 54 million rupees on Baluchistan and 227 million rupees were spent on NECTA.

Interior Ministry told that from March 2011 to September 2014, 902 cases of missing persons were decided. Finger prints of 109 million people were checked. 6052 threatening messages were received during 22 months while 42 organizations have been banned since 2008.
