Summary Besides cash grant, education and employment for children will also be arranged.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday approved a relief package for the families of deceased government staff. In case of death of in-service employees, the children of the employee will be provided free university-level education and employment of up to 15th grade, besides cash grant.
According to the spokesperson of Prime Minister House, the relief package will cover the government staff of up to 16th grade. The amount for families of 16th grade officer has been raised to 2.5 million whereas the families of grade 17th officers will be compensated with 4 million package.
The package for the families of grade 18 to grade 19 officers is worth 8 million and 9 million for the family of deceased employee of 20th grade.
The government has issued directives to all the concerned departments to take steps in this regard.
