JHANG (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said the government will not rest till full rehabilitation of flood affected people.
Addressing the flood affectees in Jandiana area of Jhang district, the Prime Minister stated that damage assessment has been carried out in the affected areas and every flood affected family will be fully compensated without discrimination.
He said first installment of Rs25,000 was paid to the flood affected families before Eid-ul-Azha while the process of payment of second installment of Rs25,000 will begin from October 20.
He assured that steps will be taken to avert flood damages in future.
On the occasion, Nawaz Sharif announced to give the status of college to local school in Khewah.
