Summary Sources claim that KPK govt will ask the ECP to redefine constituencies before holding elections
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) government has decided to request the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to redefine the constituencies for local bodies’ elections in the province, claim Dunya News sources. Sources also claimed that the provincial government has decided to bring constitutional amendment for this purpose in the assembly.
According to the sources, KPK government wants the constituencies to be redefined before holding the local bodies’ elections. Previously, KPK government had also requested ECP to allow it to use electronic voting in the elections.
