ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday claimed that all elections in the country were rigged except for the one that took place in 1970. He reiterated that the sit-in protest will not end until Prime Minister’s resignation, Dunya News reported.

Addressing the ‘Azadi march’ participants, Imran Khan said that everyone will be fearful of the awakened nation in ‘new Pakistan’ and that no one will be able to rig elections.

He promised to address grievances of the deprived classes and to form policies for the poor.

PTI chief said that his resolve was never shaken, adding that he won’t go back without Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s resignation.

He said nothing is impossible and that a human being is only defeated when they accept the defeat.

Imran Khan also criticized Nawaz Sharif by asking why Prime Minister is silent over Indian aggression along the Line of Control (LoC) with Pakistan.

He said the country needs a leadership at this point. He said Prime Minister is silent over unprovoked firing by the Indian army.

Imran Khan said that Prime Minister issued no statement over the aggression from the Indian side.

He said that Nawaz Sharif should come forward and address the issue himself instead of putting it on Sartaj Aziz.
