ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that the sit-in will continue even for 1 year if need be. He has said that 70% of the public representatives sitting in the parliament do not pay taxes. He also said that nation’s rise will be his biggest victory.

Addressing the sit-in participants today (Thursday) in Islamabad, Imran Khan said that nobody cares about public money in current form of democracy. “I had asked about the money spent on Raiwind palaces but haven’t received any response as yet”, said he. Imran said that 4-day visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to United States of Pakistan will cost Pakistan 450 million rupees.

Imran Khan said that ‘cheap speeches’ were being made in the Parliament because the parliamentarians feared the rise of the people of Pakistan. “Members attending the Joint Session of Parliament should tell us what is unconstitutional about our sit-in?” asked Imran Khan. He reiterated that he will not leave without PM’s resignation.

“Despite court orders, containers have not been removed. Government should tell us under what law these containers have been placed in Islamabad”, said Imran. “Those who speak against us are all corrupt”, said Chairman PTI.

Chairman PTI said that Quiad-e-Azam is respected by people because he did not strive to establish his own kingdom. “Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in jail and forgave everyone to save South Africa from bloodshed”, said Imran Khan. He said that electricity prices have been increased by 80% while 70% of parliamentarians do not pay any taxes. He said that he wanted a Pakistan where Prime Ministers were thrown out if they did not declare their assets and pay their taxes.

“Even if I do not become Prime Minister, I just want to give awareness to the people about their rights”, he said. He said that Karachi is Mini-Pakistan and people of Karachi will be freed of the fear.
