LAHORE (Dunya News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) referred the petition filed against failure to reveal the Model Town tragedy case report in the court to the full bench on Wednesday, Dunya News reported.
Opposite Justice Syed Manzoor Ali Shah, the petitioner’s lawyer argued that the judicial inquiry of the Model Town case was carried out by Ali Bakir Najfi. After investigating the suspects, the tribunal created a report about the case but the Punjab government is not making it public.
The report must be presented in the court followed by an immediate action taken against the suspects, the petitioner’s lawyer stated. The court, however, referred the case to the full bench in Islamabad terming it as sensitive.
