Summary Ban has been imposed in view of the terrorism threats in PTI, PAT sit-ins
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Ban on pillion ride has been imposed in Islamabad by the local administration in view of the terrorism threats in the ongoing Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) sit-ins.
According to Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad Sher Dil, security agencies have shared information of possible terrorist threats in the sit-ins. DC said that the Islamabad administration has decided to impose a ban on pillion ride under the section 144 for one week.
Earlier, Interior Ministry spokesperson had told that security agencies have shared information about some terrorists belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KPK) looking for an opportunity to carry out terrorist attack in PTI and PAT sit-ins.
Security agencies’ report says that there are five to six terrorists present in the sit-ins waiting for the right time to carry out their activity.
