QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least three suspects of the Karachi Navy Dockyard attack were apprehended on Thursday while trying to flee to Afghanistan, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, all three accused had reached Quetta using a private car. All three accused were arrested from near Luck Pass upon a tip from the intelligence agency.
Sources revealed that several suspects have been taken into custody from various parts of the country after raids by the law enforcement.
The suspects were arrested from Sawabi, Karachi and interior Sindh.
Reportedly, the arrested suspects include members of banned outfits along with the presumed Navy personnel whereas more raids are being carried out to arrest more accused.
It merits mentioning here that terrorists had targeted Navy Dockyard in Karachi on Saturday morning but the security officials had foiled the attack after bravely confronting the terrorists.
At least two terrorists were killed while another four were arrested.
An officer of Pakistan Navy was martyred in the crossfire while seven security personnel were wounded.
