ISLAMABAD (Dunya News/Web Desk) - Leader of the Opposition in Senate Aitazaz Ahsan said on Friday that he can oust the government and Parliament but he is standing with the House.

Speaking at the joint session of the parliament, Aitazaz Ahsa said that all members of the opposition parties except (maybe) Mehmood Achakzai will accompany him if he walks out of the House, adding that but the tradition of forced to resign should be ended now.

He said all members of the government were depressed but when the opposition stood behind PM Nawaz, the body language of the PML-N ministers changed. Aitazaz questioned Nawaz Shairf as for how long he will apologise on behalf of those who have already left him.

Aitzaz Ahsan said that he had struggled for democracy during the eras of different dictators and rejected offers of employment from the governments.

The leader admitted that his wife does LPG business and questioned about the quote. He said that LPG was deregulated in 2000. He said that his wife pays more taxes on LPG business than any minister.

Aitzaz said that former chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry and Nawaz Sharif were his clients, and if Nisar was calling them land mafia.  He also suggested PM to reshuffle his cabinet once the current crisis subsides.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif personally apologized to the opposition for what he called ‘unfortunate’ comments made by Interior Minister Choudhry Nisar Ali Khan against PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan.

While apologizing to Aitzaz Ahsan and Khursheed Shah over Chaudhary Nisar’s statement, he assured that all the matters will be solved with mutual co-operation. He also praised the role of Pakistan People s Party (PPP) for supporting him in the present crisis and said that he would have played the same role if it would have been PPP in his place.

PM hailed the role of opposition for supporting him when his resignation was demanded. He said that premiership is not a bed of roses and that he does not care for his government. He expressed sorrow over the cancellation of tours of Chinese and Sri Lankan president due to sit-ins, saying that they were to announce investments worth billions of dollars.
