Summary Sharif brothers may buy or scare the witnesses, the PTI chief said.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Insisting over investigation of alleged rigging during last year’s general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cannot be trusted.

In a message posted on Twitter, Imran Khan said PM Nawaz will influence the investigation process if he stayed in power.

Imran Khan also accused that Sharif brothers may buy or scare the witnesses as they did in the past too. He said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is already sabotaging the Model Town tragedy case.

Thousands of anti-government protestors belonging to PTI and PAT have staged a sit-in outside the Parliament House in Islamabad in a bid to oust the Prime Minister. Imran Khan alleges that last year s general elections were rigged and demanded that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should step down until conclusion of probe into poll rigging.

The Sharif-led government has announced to accept all electoral reform-related demands but has rejected the demand asking for the Prime Minister s resignation.
