ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan clarified his stance today over his statement on ex chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry and his involvement in 2013 electoral rigging along with the returning officers (ROs) and others.

He stands by every word he has said in regard to election rigging and ex-CJ’s involvement, says Spokesperson PTI Shireen Mazari.

Spokesperson PTI stated that Imran Khan strived with ex CJ for the restoration of judiciary against a dictator adding that Khan had to go to jail for leading that movement. However, he still staunchly stands by his words regarding the involvement and role of ex-CJ Iftikhar Chaudhry in general elections 2013.

She emphasized that anything that does not coincide with his statement should be considered as an inadequate representation of his views.

Earlier, news had been making rounds about Imran khan’s response to ex-CJ in which he had commended him for his accomplishments and fervor. Party sources have revealed that the response had been written without Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s consent and demand it to be returned.
