Summary Sirajul Haq says that 'some' demands by protesters are understandable.

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (F) leader Maulana Fazalur Rehman and Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) leader Maulana Sirajul Haq met today (Thursday) in Islamabad.

While talking to a joint press conference after the meeting. Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that he did not believe the demands of Prime Minister’s resignation and dissolution of the assemblies to be legal or constitutional. He said that all parliamentary forces have rejected the demand of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif s resignation. JUI (F) leader said that all political parties were on one page.

JI Head Maulana Sirajul Haq said on this occasion that some of the demands by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) protesters were constitutional.

Sirajul Haq advised government and the protesters to start negotiations with each other at the earliest. He warned that if both the parties would not come on the negotiation table, this might end up giving some other forces the space to intervene. "If conflict continues, all will have to go home. We must all show maturity to lead the nation out of this crisis", concluded JI Head.
