ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Justice (R) Khalilur Rehman Ramday and Justice (R) Riaz Kayani on Monday termed Imran Khan’s allegations of election rigging baseless, Dunya News reported.
Ramday said that Imran Khan is confused while terming the allegations a ‘bunch of lies’.
Talking exclusively to Dunya News from London, Justice (R) Ramday said that the fresh allegations are part of anti-judiciary campaign.
He said Imran Khan is dragging the same judiciary into the allegations of election rigging which he used to praise. He said PTI chief termed him as the ‘great justice’ and brought him bouquet.
He said the house in which he was accused of rigging is the one that he left in January, adding that it appears that some allies of Imran Khan want him to reach the political destiny.
Justice (R) Ramday said that he reserves the right to pursue PTI chief legally.
Meanwhile, Member of Election Commission Punjab Justice (R) Riaz Kayani denied meeting with Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Kayani said that he met Ramday as a friend only and no words on elections were exchanged. He said he never met Pervez Malik either, adding that the statements attributed to him about Anwar Mehboob are also baseless.
Justice (R) Kayani said he will not resign owing to the allegations leveled against him and will complete his term.
