ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervez Rasheed rejected Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s allegations today (Monday) saying they were nothing but a heap of lies.
Responding to Imran Khan’s press conference, Pervez Rasheed said that ‘Imran-Qadri Alliance’ wanted anarchy in the country. He said that Chairman PTI is presenting twisted facts to the nation.
Pervez Rasheed alleged that Imran Khan has been taking U-turns on rigging for the last fourteen months. “Why does Imran Khan not tell that Secretary Health was brother of her candidate from NA-120 Dr. Yasmein Rashid”, questioned Rasheed. “Imran Khan is also not mentioning that his advisor Tariq Pervez was made the Interior Minister”, he added.
Senior Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader alleged that Najam Sethi was requested by Imran Khan not to make Chaudhry Qamar Zaman the Chief Secretary. “Secretary Finance Ghulam Sarwar Cheema was son-in-law of a PTI leader”, he informed. Caretaker Secretary Information Amjad Bhatti remained Public Relations Officer (PRO) of former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi.
PML-N Senator told that judiciary’s staff was made District Returning Officers on Imran Khan’s request. Pervez Rahseed said that former Chief Election Commissioner Fakhruddin J Ibrahim has already shown Imran Khan’s real face to the public. Pervez Rasheed alleged Imran Khan of not respecting judiciary, parliament and election commission.
“Why is Imran Khan silent about Tasneem Qureshi Commission Report which highlights the reasons of PTI’s failure”, asked Pervez Rasheed. He alleged ‘Imran-Qadri Alliance’ of promoting anarchy in the country.
