KARACHI (Dunya News) – Nineteen of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) members who were earlier suspended, submitted their apologies to the party on Sunday afternoon, Dunya News reported.
According to reports, MQM’s central coordination committee and Chief Altaf Hussain will decide on the apologies.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain had suspended as many as nineteen members of the central coordination committee for exhibiting ‘irresponsibility’ on Sunday morning.
The suspended members include Kanwar Naveed, Nasreen Jalil, Dr Sagheer Ahmed, Abdul Rasheed Godel and Ashfaq Mangi.
According to the statement, none of the suspended members will be allowed to attend any gathering related to MQM. The party membership will be cancelled if any member will be seen at any Iftar party or MQM-related public gathering.
These members have submitted the apologies and the final decision will be taken by the Chief Altaf Hussain and the coordination committee.
