Peshawar: Two cops killed as result of firing attack on police

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – At least two policemen were killed as terrorists opened fire on police personnel in Hayatabad area of Peshawar on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
The martyred cops were identified as Akhtar Zaman and Imran. Heavy contingent of police arrived after the incident and surrounded the crime scene while beginning the search operation to capture the perpetrators.
The culprits reportedly succeeded in fleeing the scene.
As many as eight police officers have died in various attacks on the police in the past 10 days.
