PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Funeral prayers were offered for head constable martyred in yesterday’s attack on police mobile in Wazir Bagh area of Peshawar.
The funeral was attended by Commissioner of Peshawar Munir Azam, IG KP Nasir Durrani and other police officials.
Guard of honor was also presented to the martyred constable on this occasion.
Taking to Dunya News, KPK IG Nasir Durrani said that they will win the war against terrorists at all costs.
He further said that it was very expensive to install jammers in police mobiles, adding that armour plates were fixed in police mobiles to avoid attacks.
A policeman was martyred while three others sustained injuries in an attack on police mobile in Wazir Bagh area of Peshawar on early Friday morning.
The bomb exploded when policemen were patrolling the streets near Science College.
