Summary Chief Minister Sindh says PML-N and PPP are together for peace in Karachi.
KARACHI: (Dunya News) While talking at an event organized by Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) today (Tuesday), Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that terrorists have more arms in their possession than the Police. He said that the terrorists are much better equipped compared to the Police.
Qaim Ali Shah said that three institutions are currently fighting with the terrorists in Karachi including Police, Rangers and Pakistan Army.
When questioned about Asif Ali Zardari’s statement in which the latter had called Nawaz Sharif as king, Chief Minister Sindh said that Nawaz Sharif is Prime Minister for him. “Ask this question to him who called Nawaz Sharif as the king. For me, Nawaz Sharif is my Prime Minister”, said Qaim Ali Shah.
Former President and PPP Co-Chairman Asif alsi Zardari had stated earlier today that people had elected Nawaz Sharif as Prime Minister but he was acting like a king. Asif Zardari further said that Nawaz Sharif has been selected as the Prime Minister of the country and that he has no right to interfere in provincial matters.
Asif Zardari also supported Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI)’s demand to recount the votes in the four constituencies. Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi was quick to welcome the statement and had immediately invited Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to join PTI’s ‘Azadi’ March that is scheduled for August 14.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan also thanked Asif Zardari for his support during a press conference today. Imran Khan said that Zardari’s government was much better compared to the current government.
