Summary Arsalan Iftikhar will seek a verdict on Imran's daughter out of wedlock from religious scholars.

LAHORE: (Dunya News) Arsalan Iftikhar, son of former Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, told the media today (Friday) that he has received Imran Khan s nomination papers from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

While talking to the media, Arsalan remarked that Imran Khan has not mentioned his eldest daughter in his nomination papers. He reiterated his resolve of contacting the religious scholars on the matter of Imran Khan s child out of wedlock, Dunya News reported.

Arsalan Iftikhar said that he was planning to seek Islamic verdict on a child before marriage from Islamic Ideology Council. He announced that he would also request Imran Khan s B-Form record from National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

Arsalan Iftikhar blamed Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan of being a power hungry person. “He concealed the exi about his elder daughter from the Election Commission of Pakistan just to attain power”, alleged Arsalan Iftikhar.

Arsalan Iftikhar said that he had no connections with any political party or even politics. He said that he had nothing to do with any Long March. “I just want Imran Khan to clarify whether Tyrian White is his daughter or not”, said Arsalan.

Arsalan Iftikhar had stated yesterday that Imran Khan was neither righteous nor honest and therefore, did not have any right to be a member of the national assembly. He had said that Imran Khan could not be elected to any of the houses as he did not fulfill the criteria laid down in the Articles 62 and 63 of the constitution of Pakistan.

Imran Khan has remained under fire for this allegedly love child of his ever since he joined politics. When he first announced his party in 1996 and vowed to take on Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Pakistan Peoples  Party (PPP), the case was used as propaganda against him by the PML (N). Later, in 2002, when Imran Khan contested the election from Mianwali against veteran constitutional expert Sher Afghan Niazi (Late), the latter, too, had filed a petition against him on similar grounds. Dr. Farooq Sattar of Muttahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) had also filed a reference against Imran Khan in 2007.

The current tussle between Arsalan and Imran Khan began when Chief Minister Baluchistan made Arsalan Iftikhar the Vice Chairman of Baluchistan Board of Investment. Imran Khan alleged that Arsalan was obliged because of his father s supposed role in rigging in 2013 General Elections. Imran Khan s allegations stirred up a massive controversy in the media and led to Arsalan Iftikhar s resignation from the post on July 4, 2014.

After his resignation, Arsalan Iftikhar appeared on several TV Talk Shows and repeated his allegations against Imran Khan. Later, he requested Imran Khan s nomination papers and other details from the Election Commission in order to file a reference against him.
