Summary CM Shahbaz arrived in Beijing on July 6 to discuss Pak-China cooperation in various sectors.
BEIJING (Web Desk) - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday said that Pakistan Army is fighting the war for country’s survival.
Talking to a delegation of Chinese media in Beijing, the Chief Minister said development in all the sectors would only be achieved if menace of terrorism is completely eliminated from country’s soil.
"Whole nation stands with Pakistan Army," he said.
He said robust socio-economic measures will also help in elimination of terrorism and militancy.
A high-level delegation, headed by CM Shahbaz Sharif, arrived in Beijing on Sunday to hold meetings with Chinese authorities about projects being implemented with the cooperation of China in Pakistan.
The delegation includes Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, Secretary Economic Affairs Division Saleem Sethi and Secretary Water and Power Nargis Sethi.
