Summary Two Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat activists were gunned down in Purani Sabzi Mandi area on Saturday night.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The funeral prayers of two Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) activists was offered at University road here on Sunday.
Earlier, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat held sit-in on University Road against the target killing of its activists Noor Zaman and Qari Rahimullah. Heirs of the victim and a large number of the citizens participated in the protest sit-in.
The protesters demanded stern action against DSP and SHO of the area where the incident took place. They demanded immediate action against the culprits.
After six hours of the sit-in, Superintendent Police (SP) Gulshan Abid Hussain held talks with the protesters and assured them to bring the culprits to book.
Later, the protesters ended their protest and offered funeral prayers of the ASWJ workers.
It is to mention here that two ASWJ activists namely Qari Abdul Rahim and Noor Zaman were shot dead by unknown motorcyclists in Purani Sabzi Mandi area on Saturday night.
