Summary Decline in the temperature caused relief in load shedding.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Drop in the temperature puts a halt to the unannounced load shedding. The hours for load shedding reduced to seven hours in urban and ten hours in the rural areas.
According to the sources from National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC), the production of electricity is 14 thousand Megawatts whereas the production is 17 thousand two hundred Megawatts.
The shortfall of electricity has fallen to 3 thousand one hundred Megawatts. The complaints lodged due to unexpected load shedding and tripping of the system have been decreased as a consequence of the reduction in load shedding. However, the discontinuation of electricity for 7 to 10 hours is still being carried out. The areas with defective transmitters are suffering through a lot of load shedding.
According to the public circles, the supply of electricity during sahar and aftar time is not uninterrupted which is causing a lot of hassle for the people.
