Musharraf's ECL case: Supreme Court issues detailed verdict

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday issued a verdict detailing the grounds on which federal government’s appeal against Sindh High Court’s decision to allow Musharraf abroad was admitted, Dunya News reported.
The five member bench under the headship of Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk had reserved the verdict after hearing upon federation’s plea.
Justice Nasir wrote the verdict comprising four pages. According to the verdict, the federation’s appeal was admitted for hearing on the basis of five questions.
The first question is whether or not the apex court’s verdict of April 8, 2013 interim. The second question concerns the dissolution of interim verdict into the full verdict.
Third question is whether Sindh High Court’s verdict can suspend government’s April 5, 2013 verdict.
Fourth question is whether or not Musharraf can be allowed to travel abroad until full verdict of Supreme Court.
Fifth question is if the government’s administrative decision is in accordance with the Exit Control List (ECL) rules.
The apex court has sought answers of all five questions from the parties.
