ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed said while responding to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan’s allegations that Imran Khan has lost his case while staying within bounds of law and constitution, claiming that Khan doesn’t like supremacy of parliament and judiciary, Dunya News reported.
Pervaiz Rasheed said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s speech on election eve was an address to the party workers and not a victory speech. He said Imran Khan’s accusations carry no weight.
Federal Minister said Imran Khan has lost his case while staying within bounds of law and constitution. He said Imran Khan’s threat of long march is for the independent judiciary and election commission.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN) leader Ahsan Iqbal said that Imran Khan is now panicking and is looking for ways to create unrest in the country. He urged Khan not to drag the country to warfare.
Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said that a leader is not a leader if they don’t stand by their people during tough times. He alleged that Imran Khan disappeared during Balochistan earthquake, dengue epidemic in Lahore and drought in Thar.
