LONDON (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has welcomed PM Nawaz’s statement regarding military operation (Zarb-e-Azb) launched in North Waziristan Agency against the militants.
Talking to Dunya News, Altaf Hussain urged all political, religious parties to support the military operation. He said terrorist attacks have reached to unbearable extent. Operation to wipe them out was must.
He demanded sufficient arrangements for IDPs as around seven lac people would displace amid military operation.
Earlier, Altaf Hussain urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to take nation into confidence over North Waziristan operation.
He said “as a head of an independent state, it is Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s constitutional and moral responsibility to address the nation over recently launched anti-terrorism operation."
It is matter of national security and sovereignty. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should brief nation over all the points regarding this operation, he said.
The MQM chief suggested that the premier should give nation a message of unity, confidence and courage.
