PTI 'tsunami' turns to Azad Kashmir

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) formed 10-member executive council on Wednesday in a bid to revive workers activism in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) region. The council will organize and mobilize the party in the AJK region within six months, Dunya News reported.
The committee was formed upon direction of PTI chief Imran Khan. According to the notification copy obtained by Dunya News, Dr Latif-ur-Rehman has been made the president of the council, Sardar Abrar Javed senior vice president, and Sardar Babar Hussain has been designated as General Secretary.
Asia Rafique will represent women’s wing and Chaudhry Abbas Raza has been assigned the responsibility to represent the youth wing.
The supervision of Insaf Student Federation (ISF) has been assigned to Touqeer Babar. According to the notification issued by PTI’s General Secretary Jehangir Tareen, the executive council will mobilize party workers and activists on union councils, tehsil and district level.
