ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed alleged on Sunday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has always ignored smaller provinces, and that Khan is now promoting provincial prejudice, Dunya News reported.
Pervaiz Rasheed said in a statement that Imran Khan didn’t go to Tharparkar to support and show solidarity when people of Thar were dying of malnutrition. He further said that Imran Khan did not go to Balochistan when Awaran was hit by earthquake.
He further asked where was Imran Khan was extortion and target killing had troubled Karachi?
Rasheed said that Imran Khan’s political strategy has no place for smaller provinces, alleging that Khan always ignored smaller provinces and is now sparking provincial prejudice.
Earlier, Imran Khan said that the federal budget will spark an element of hatred among the smaller provinces against Punjab, adding that he has never seen a budget more incentivizing the rich.
He said that never has any budget benefited the rich like this one does, adding that the corrupt like those who have 200 billion rupees in Swiss bank accounts have been incentivized.
PTI chief alleged that one family is running Pakistan, adding that this is not how democracy works.
He alleged that borrowings are being spent on Punjab, and that the government has brought the Karachi circular railway project to Lahore. He said that the electricity bills have been doubled yet the load shedding is intact.
